Our greatest success or our greatest failure

This video is a custom order I placed at the end of November, originally for Maleena and Kuromi, whom I ended up replacing with Katty and Kitana. I chose Maleena because she was new and I wanted more viewers, and Kitana because I needed to pay off some debts. But that was my biggest mistake. Choosing Kitana meant I could only work during the week when she was available, but that wasn't the worst problem. The biggest problem was that Katty couldn't come in on Sunday to film this video with Kuromi, Freya, and Jazara, nor on Tuesday to film it with Kitana, Freya, and Jazara, completely disrupting the week's work schedule, which revolved around this video. She arrived late on Wednesday, and there was nothing I could do. I only found out today that Katty is usually unable to work, but she doesn't know how to communicate with me, so she just tells me she can come when she can't. Today it was all or nothing. I had already told the client that if Katty didn't come, I would replace her with Babylon, but the client asked for a discount, so I agreed. I was furious; I had gotten Katty a lot of work (even prioritizing her over Maleena) and now she had left me on the verge of a refund. Today, Jazara and Freya had an unavoidable Christmas dinner with their friends and asked me to finish the video by 11:30. Kitana would be here at 10:00 (she couldn't travel earlier),

And I had told Babylon to be ready in case Katty was late for work again. Katty has to travel 60 kilometers to get to work, but she woke up late and couldn't get in touch properly. She told me she was traveling to our city, but she didn't specify where she was going. I called her a thousand times, but I had no signal. Finally, I told Babylon to come to work. It was already 10:30, and Freya and Jazara wanted to kill me. I went to pick Babylon up at her house, and just then Katty reported that she was arriving in the city. Since I drive faster than the bus, I went to pick her up in a nearby town and sped back while in the back seat Freya called Katty a liar and unprofessional for being so late (even though it was the first time she'd seen her). I ended up arriving at work at 11:00 a.m. Kitana opened the door angrily. She'd been waiting for me for an hour, and I didn't know how to explain that I'd been delayed because I was waiting for Katty, who didn't know the city and couldn't get there alone. (Blaming Katty again, just as we were about to film the video, could jeopardize her performance, especially since she'd already had to endure Freya's scolding.) But wait! Don't you see something strange? It's 11 a.m., I have to finish a long script with lots of details in half an hour, and I have five models instead of four.

The video was only for Katty, Jazara, Kitana, and Freya, but thinking Katty would never arrive, I had to pick up Babylon! This was a problem; it was a script for four, but Babylon never misses work. I couldn't tell her to go home empty-handed after making her waste so much time, so I quickly read the script, memorized the most important details, and started working without looking at it again. Finally, what seemed impossible happened. I completed the video in half an hour, including a fifth model in a script originally written for four. We got spectacular shots, with amazing performances that only our team could pull off in record time, and above all, I was praying that the client would accept my script changes, even though I hadn't even notified them privately about anything I'd done. I wrote all this down exactly as it happened because I couldn't think of any other way to tell you that would make you believe it. So, you know, enjoy it when it premieres, guys.
