Important: Pause

Hey everyone,

My father was admitted to the hospital yesterday in critical condition for leukemia he has been battling for five years. His health has been deteriorating over the past few months, especially in recent weeks, and the care I’ve been providing is no longer enough.

For the past few days, I haven’t had the strength to write. Depending on how his condition evolves, this may last for some time. Now, I can only hope for a miracle.

For this reason, I decided to pause Patreon for one month (this will freeze your subscription and extend it by one month at no cost—you will not be charged).

If my dad’s condition improves, I’ll write and post again during this pause (which will allow me to catch up on the chapters I owe you), but you still won’t be charged.

Otherwise… see you in a month for the Tier up.

Sorry.

Thank you for your understanding.

My dad’s name was Alain. He died a few minutes after this post. An amazing man, a genious tinkerer and a supportive father. Very proud I became a full time author.

Priam’s father is based on him.

Love U Dad

Please do not push yourself to write until you feel you are ready, feel no guilt because of it no matter how long it takes. Your story is beautiful.

So sorry for your loss, please don’t push yourself too hard to produce content until you’re ready, we all support you and will patiently wait while you grieve, take all the time you need.

Thanks Dalton, that means a lot to me. But truly, I take pride in being paid for the work I produce. In any case, your sentiment goes straight to my heart.

Did anyone petition Priam to unfreeze the account. You need a month off and I'm willing to pay so you can spend time with you fam and collect yourself. What's a month really

Dalton

Well wishes for you

Life is a miracle. We've all been given form by the universe and we all go back to it in the end. Regardless of your religion or lack of that is true. So, a bit corny but matter doesn't ever get destroyed it just changes form. And the idea that 99% of space is empty is wrong, it's made up of energy fields interacting and pushing on everything else. So I guess what i'm trying to say is we're all part of the same stuff. No one dies alone, they become a part of the universe. Or rather, we've always been. A lot of words, where words can't suffice but I hope this perspective will give even just a little strength.

Well wishes for your family.

I know it’s only a stranger on the internet but well wishes and hope that you can focus on the good time and memories you shared as that’s all I know from dealing with death in the family
