Weekly Update - February 28 to March 6

Heyo!

It's March! And soon I can turn off the heat & enjoy spending less on electric

This week, we see all the tasks set up last week completed, minus the blinking script. I'm on a roll!

As you can see in the GIF above, facial animations & transitions are working from code! I'll be tying those into the interaction this week. VRM Expressions are both more & less convenient to manipulate from code than MMD. It's ridiculous!

Based on what still needs done ( climbing mechanic, Emma's animations, misc. ), I predict that this project will be done in 3 weeks (March 27th). That's NOT a promise. It's my plan & hope. Afterall, I want to be working on the next project by April.

Work:

OK, onto brass tacks ( I thought it was "brass tax"; neat )

TL;DR - Most of the tasks set up in last weeks TODO are done. Expressions are a go, important menus are working, loading scene is set up, and materials shouldn't bleed through the top of Emma's dress. This week will be completing the entry sequence seen in the BETA build. There's not too much going on there, so I should have a new BETA build for the T2+ Patrons next Sunday. Afterwards, I'll be starting the climb sequence & mechanics.

M.2a: Expression script for VRM Models
M.3: Pause menu inputs
M.4: Loading screen

TODO:
M.2b: Blink scripts for VRM Models
N.2: Set Expressions for Intro
V.3: Create/Acquire Animations for Intro
N.3: Set Animations for Intro
M.6: Climbing Mechanics

The blink stuff is low priority for me this time, so it'll be pushed back, but I'll get it eventually. Everything else feels doable. Good luck me!
