An abandoned hamlet became that way after a curse tore through the small community. Those left to tell its tale still debate on whether it was some unfortunate swamp borne disease, or ancient magic that afflicted those that once called this place their home. Now, a circle of druids fearing the hamlet's corruption is spreading hope to mend this fallen site and restore life to the near infertile soil.
The Abandoned Hamlet has the following locations:
1. Hamlet Well - The focus of the druid's ritual, they hope to use the ancient stones and plentiful water to bring the central tree back to life.
2. Shrine - The last to leave, the cleric here withstood the horrors of this place before they themself finally succumbed to the maddening curse.
3. Broken Stables - the main door slams intermittently as the wind howls through these ruins. All that remains of this central point of the hamlet is a broken and rotting wagon.
4. Hamlet Ruins. - These ruins once housed the hamlet's doctor and tavern. When the disease began to spread these were the first places to suffer as the inhabitants tried to protect the hamlet with a futile self-impose quarantine.
5. Fisher's and dam - A small damn once stopped the river dividing the hamlet, but now the swampy waters flood the land and the prosperous home of the fisher lies broken and abandoned.
