Stolen Fate - The Scrapyard (Free!)

Ever needed a quick location to throw your players into?  The Stolen Fate Tarot Cards allow you to take fate into your own hands and provide your table with locations that have instant playability.

The Scrapyard is one of those cards and has the following locations:

  1. Reception - Customers can come to enquire at the desk here. A comfortable seating area filled with the latest issues of Artificer's Automata Monthly and Horticulture and Homesteading are available to read on the tables. There's even a nearby W.C. for convenience.
  2. Lead Mechanic's Office - Running the scrapyard from this office, the lead mechanic head's the business operations. However, this office also includes a cosy area where the lead mechanic sometimes uses their second profession as a counsellor to help clients talk through getting rid of their physical and emotional baggage.
  3. Garage - The main garage is a large area complete with a small metalworking area, all the necessary tools for dismantling scrap, and large garage doors to better process the junk moving in and out.
  4. Whirling Blades - The Scrapyard also comes with a raised assault course that clients can trial in order to get special discounts, or be offered better prices. The first part of the course is a set of whirling blades that must be nimbly dodged.
  5. Trapped Rubble - a series of unstable stone create difficult terrain that is also surprisingly treacherous thanks to the hidden hunting traps dotted in the gaps between the loose stone.
  6. Rope Climb - Next on the assault course is a test of strength, speed, and endurance. Though it looks easy, this part of the course is what often causes participants to get 'tied up'.
  7. Spike Hop - Participants must hop from one pole to the other, avoiding the pointed stakes in the pits below.
  8. Magic Run - Fire and Electricity flare back and forth. Either careful planning, quick reflexes, or a strong will and constitution are necessary to get past the final part of the assault course.
  9. Scrap Yard  - When this area doesn't have the assault course set up, it is host to a bunch of neatly organised scrap, sorted from the piles of new scrap moved to the sides the the walled yard.
  10. Staff Room - Here all of the mechanics and yard workers can take a break and enjoy a bite to eat.
  11. Locker Room - Here, the workers are able to change into their work clothes, or even wash the grim off of them after they clock out for the day.
  12. Staff Garden - Ever conscious of the environmental impact and the difficult work in a scrapyard, the lead mechanic decided that a staff garden would help with the mental health of her staff.
