June - July Life Update

June and July have been pretty good to us so far for sun. We've been enjoying the outdoors and even went to visit my parents (where I am typing up this post now) where we get to hang out with their pup Orla!
I'll be on the road for a bit this month, as we're celebrating my partner's birthday by travelling. Whilst I am away, I'm worried the beautiful weather might just end up frying my vegetable patch.
Growing in it we have sweetcorn, kale, brussel sprouts, peppers, tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, courgettes (or zucchini?), radishes, lettuce, purple headed brocolli, and beet spinach!
Maybe a little adventurous to grow all that, and in such a small space, but I'm just enjoying the learning curve of growing our own food.
