Heya Tinfoil, So (especially with the earlier maps) you just have to right-click and 'save as' each image to download them. Thedd2vtt files are for dynamic lighting on virtual tabletops such as Foundry. On later maps, some come with a zip folder including all the map files for patrons at BARbarian tier or higher. Also just to note, the majority of the files are 'WebP' files. This is a form of image file that is reduced in size (in terms of data, not dimensions) without sacrificing quality. 'WebP' can be used on all major VTTs as far as I am aware. It functions the same as a 'Jpeg' or 'PNG' would, I believe. However, jut note that you might need to change your filter to 'all files' in your windows explorer when looking for them, and (at least on my computer) if I want to look at them I have to use a browser, rather than an image viewing app (like the windows photos app). But yes, TL;DR: Most of the files can be saved by right-clicking the image and saving them to your computer. The only thing in the attachment areas are either the VTT file (dynamic lighting file) or a zip folder containing the images in some of the more recent posts and at the BARbarian tier and up. I was wondering if there was anyway or anywhere I could download these maps (from the Magical University series) as .jpg or .png files. I'm not farmiliar with the .dd2vtt files you've added on your patreon posts and after an hour of trying I've hit a dead end... Can you help please?

(Oops hit enter too soon) To access the ungridded maps you either need to just save the ungridded version of the map directly, or become a patreon of BARbarian tier or higher for some of the ungridded versions of some maps. So, for the 'Behind the Stacks' map; just click on the image to enlarge it, then right click and save it. Eventually I will add all the files into an easy download folder once I've completed the core ones I want to. Let me know if this helps, and feel free to ask for further clarification if you're still unsure!

For example, I'm about to start running Strix for a group, and would love to use your Behind the Stacks map; we're not using R20, which is fine, but the download file seems to be for the UMI tool and then I got lost :/ Thank you so much for any help!!

I'm glad me channelling that frustration into making maps has helped someone other than myself. Please do let me know if you have any suggestions or comments for any of the specific maps, I'm always interested in what others think and how I might improve (or keep doing well!)

2022-06-21 12:35:11 +0000 UTCUmmmm these are AMAZING. I'm starting to prep for a Strixhaven campaign this summer and was a bit bummed about the colorless maps. I wouldn't be surprised if I use ALL of these at some point, and the assorted ones too. I bought the book so as NOT to have to do a ton of prep but it's proving to need it - I've already bought some of your supplements from DMG and they look fantastic but to find these too is even LESS work for me. :D Thank you! Beautifully done!
