Original Works Roundup

It's still early into Zelda season but I have a few original drawings I wanted to share! I've noticed that my twitter feed has been basically NO drawings of my actual characters in a long while because of all the patreon things and it made me kind of sad, lol. I don't have too many things to share at the moment but I thought these were worth posting.

First is a drawing of my still unnamed ninja girl because it's been a while since I've drawn her. I'm still not completely sold on her outfit but I think I need to design more of her world and story before I feel like I can get to something that works for me, but I'll probably still finish this pic regardless. Next is a Frankie bookmark I wanted to make for a bit and finally got around to finishing. I wanted an Ami to go on the reverse side and I might still attempt something soon but for now I at least know I can get frankie printed and she turned out cute.

I was watching a playthrough of Super Metroid recently which inspired that Samus pic you saw a few posts ago, and I was doodling what started as a robot girl and it turned into this Metroid-inspired design of a deep sea diver on an alien planet. No name or particular plan for this yet but I think it would be fun to use for a metroid inspired short game with cool powerups and creatures to fight. I also noticed I don't have any black important characters in any of my stories so I thought it would be a good opportunity to include one into my roster. I think this design will have to go through some heavy tweaks to look more iconic but I think the idea is fun enough to push more, hopefully you will see more of her sooner rather than later.

Last pic is a drawing of scarlet I did because I still need to practice drawing her thicker body that I've always wanted her to have, and I used it as an excuse to draw a few outfits she could wear. I've been really into Scarlet with animal print things so she's got a cow print style shirt here which I think looks really cute on her!

That's all I've got for now, I've been using up a lot of my drawing time on finishing Red Muscle pages but I'll try to start finishing a Zelda pic or two in the coming week. I have a good chunk of Red Muscle ch8 pages done but I haven't gone through and done a more dedicated proofread to make sure I like what the dialogue is doing. I don't know if $5 patrons are ok with seeing the pages as they are right now, but I can start posting batches of them soon too. Just let me know how you feel about it and I'll see you next update!
