May I suggest the best science fiction book ever? The title is Project Hail Mary by Weir. It really does the science part of science fiction. It includes solving some of the issues on this podcast. I won’t ruin it by saying more. Also- there is a fantastic series called the Orville that only ran for three seasons. I’m sad about that because it reminded me of Star Trek but better. And one way it is better is that the aliens are not pseudo humans. And that makes for outstanding stories.

Evan has not heard of Charles Grassley. He's over 90 years old and has been a senator and huge embarrassment to Iowa since the 1970s.

Shouldn't that be #1024, Feb 22? (EDIT: Last week's numbering was also off btw; should have read #1023!)

I found that the report on the infinite tower adjustments to General Relativity is very speculative and especially the conjectures of white holes was without any foundation in observations or evidence.
