The reason we call it "plate tectonics" is because not all tectonics is plate tectonics. For example, there is also drip tectonics.

Is it here that we give our who's that noisy guesses? Just kidding. I won't spoil it. I think I know this weeks. Should I give a hint? Is it Driving you crazy? Are you auto-matically ready to rumble?

For a few fleeting moments, I thought I may have swept the panel on Science or Fiction for the first time in 15 years of listening. Curse you Io!

Speaking on the current administration, I'm not so much a fan of GK Chesterton, but his fence* is very applicable to the gov't at the moment. With all of the jerky changes going on, I think one way to describe the next 4 years (hopefully only 4) is going through the DTs. (delirium tremens). The initials are appropriate. Having served in the military and been a gov't contractor, this has been the worst transition in 35 years. And it's only been two weeks. * Don't remove something just because you don't know what it's for, but also don't just leave it either. Be curious and investigate. The original purpose might still be applicable (you learn something), but it's just as likely it's purpose has run it's course (and get rid of the fence).

The Flash Gordon besmirching would hurt my soul if I had one! Flash Gordon is a top tier movie for me. Sure, it's cheesy and over-the-top, but that's by design. It's such a fun movie with a great cast. And that soundtrack is iconic!

Iceland is awesome! When it comes to food though, I didn't like puffin or whale. When I was there, it's a couple decades ago, a guide said "if you ever get lost in a forest on Iceland, stand up!" But I assume some of the planted trees have become, you know, trees-sized since.
