I don't get the issue with the taste of raw milk. I'm not an advocate of raw milk, but I spent many years of my youth working on small dairy farms, and we always drank raw milk, (of course I knew the herd and the process). But I don't remember any distinctly different taste to raw milk. It was richer, because it was full fat, and since the herds I worked with were Jersey and Ayrshire cows it was significantly higher fat content than what you would buy in the store. If the raw milk you had tasted differently, maybe it wasn't fresh?
