A lot of my pencil roughs end up looking only vaguely like the final inks, and this one's a perfect example of that. A LOT of what I end up inking happens solely on the ink layer with little to no underdrawing sometimes, but there's a few rough sketches in the layered file here that show how I arrived at the final ink.

thanks Dan, I am definitely trying to cram in as much worldbuilding and lore into these pages without having to explain it. If I can make it so the reader stops and looks at the pages for clues, then I'll know I did it right.
