I've started a new YouTube Series on advice to Musicians and Creative Professionals, and the very first episode just uploaded is about how to become a studio musician.
I discuss how I got into the soundtrack and commercial recording business, what equipment I use, how I network and market myself, how I started my home recording setup, and more tips and tricks for those of you interested in becoming a recording musicians for multimedia projects!
Future episodes will talk about how to independently release music, both original and covers (and how to secure mechanical licenses), marketing, differentiating yourself and creating your own brand, financial organization, creating multiple residual and active revenue streams, and more!
