Paint swatches roadmap

Alright folks, just wanted to give you an update on the new paint swatches you can look forward to in the near future :) There were loads of new paints and products announced at Adepticon, so things won't be dull!

Planned new swatches:

• Secret product: A new paint range from a well-known manufacturer will be revealed in early to mid-May, for which I'll be creating a swatch. Can't say any more than that for now!

• P3 hobby paints: I'll definitely be doing a swatch for these, however, my delivery is still pending (as far as I know, the paints will be available in shops in early June). Because of this, I'll probably prioritise the secret project first.

• Bear Cavalry paints: These new, eco-friendly paints from a small (I believe Canadian) startup were very popular at Adepticon with creators like Ninjon and Miniac, and I should be getting a batch of them soon too.

• Green Stuff World: I've already started this one, but the other swatches are higher on the priority list for now. It'll be done later in the year though!

Expansions of already available swatches:

• Warpaints Fanatic: Army Painter has announced a new subrange of "historical" colours, which I'll be adding ASAP. I also need to get my hands on the Halo paint set.

• Pro Acryl AMP: Pro Acryl is bringing out new paints under the name AMP in collaboration with Atomic Mass Games, apparently with a slightly different formula too. As soon as I have these, I'll add them in.

• Ionic: New paint sets with a few new colours have been announced, which I should have very soon.

• Scale 75: Unfortunately, the demand for the Scale 75 swatch isn't that high, even though a lot of people have asked for it. Nevertheless, I'd still like to add the Inktensity and Scalecolor Games colours. The other things are higher on the priority list for now though.

• Vallejo Metal Color: I'd like to add this to the Model Color swatch, but it's more of a second priority.

Further updates:

• The 7-in-1 document is being continuously expanded and optimised. V1.5 has already been released, and more requested "quality of life" features will follow :)

• For the currently available swatches, AK, Citadel, Two Thin Coats, and Vallejo Model Color still need to be updated with the vibrancy icons from the 7-in-1 document. While I'm doing that, I'll also be colour-checking and optimising each swatch again, just like I did recently with the Fanatic swatch. I'll always do this whenever I have a break between the projects mentioned above.

That's it for the next few months. And for the second half of the year, I've got loads of new ideas that I won't reveal to you yet!
