Horus (almost) ascended

Horus himself is pretty much done (except for a few fixes and repairs I need to make), so now I'm working on the display base. I'm confident to finish him tomorrow evening, would be nice to cross him off my list of this year. I basecoated the fur black, then applied a zenithal highlight with white, then washed the fur with multiple layers of thinned Pro Acryl Black Wash and Vallejo Xpress Colour Zombie Flesh to add subtle colour variations, then drybrushed with Corax White, Game Color Dead White, and added a few manual highlights of Corax White and Dead White on the most prominent places. For the bloody paws, I mixed Flesh-Tearers Red 2:1 with Cygor Brown, thinned it down with Contrast Medium, and built up the effect with a few glazes :)
