New gear

I've saved the Patreon funds from the past few months to invest in some better gear. Up until now, I've been filming painting scenes in my videos using my iPhone (I feel embarrassed to even tell you). To get a somewhat acceptable image quality, I had to place the smartphone very close to the model, which always got in theway while painting. And I never got as close as I wanted.
Thanks to the advice from my mates Fauxhammer and Juan Hidalgo, I now have the same zoom lens that Juan uses for his tutorial videos, and it's apparently the same lens as Pete the Wargamer uses! I feel like a professional YouTuber now :D

Apart from the lens, I also upgraded my PC with a new CPU and GPU, a Ryzen 5600x and Radeon RTX 6650XT.
Video editing is very resource-intensive, and in the past, I often struggled with slowdowns when working with 4K footage. Thanks to your support, I was able to acquire more SSD storage some time ago, and with the new CPU and graphics card, editing should hopefully run much smoother.
