Added 2023-02-22 20:36:38 +0000 UTCYesterday we had a showcase post for Tom's Cadian 122nd Shock Trooper, tomorrow there'll be a post for Garfy's Flamers of Tzeentch, and for the weekend, there is a secret GW review planned.
I also started work on next month's Patreon exclusive, which will be a masterclass tutorial for my Sons of Horus, much expanded from the version I posted on the blog, covering vehicles, special characters, and various weapon options as well.
I also got a preview sample of the new Speedpaint 2.0 Mega Set with the new formula, and I'll do a video review about the new range (will probably take two or three weeks). Initial impression is that the metallic Speedpaints are not as bad as some of the promo shots make them, but I also noticed that even though The Army Painter promised a more stable resin, on some colours there is still a minor reactivation going on, even after a longer curing time. Will give these a good spin and then share my honest review about them. Any question you might have?

2023-02-22 23:29:57 +0000 UTCWhat I'd mostly be interested in is how the colours/tones have differed from the 1.0 colours to the *same* 2.0 colours. As I'm sure there's some slight variation in hues. And then the obvious, how re-activation has changed from the 1.0 to the 2.0 colours
