New gear & Speedpaint testing

Behind the scenes I'm busy working on my Army Painter Speedpaint review, which will be my most elaborate review ever. Next week you will find my initial thoughts on Tale of Painters, with a full-blown video review on my YouTube channel a few weeks later.

So far I feel Speedpaints are on eye level with Contrast, but have a few quirks of their own. They create slightly smoother results with less pooling, but are also slightly runnier and more difficult to control, and probably due to their medium containing alcohol, they can reactivate when you paint over them, unless you seal them with varnish (a bit like enamel and oil washes). Stay tuned for my initial review next week.
