You should at least mention which mod(s) you're running which change vanilla traffic or mess with RAGE hook with their full name, brother - although of course this already makes it not a "bug" that they "really need to fix" but a comp request. Sounds like popular candidates might be 5Real Complete or LA Revo 2.0 but might be "Real California Traffic'? Or RDE, PEV, NVE, LSPDFR or Krogan's Real Life Traffic. LCPP (Liberty City Preservation Project) introduces a 2nd city with NY vehicles btw, so does Vicy Cry. You must be on Legacy then, huh? Hope that helps <3

the single player package i just updated and in my game i have civilians driving real life cars with this new updated single package when I installed it removes my civilians from driving real life cars but when I switch back to the old nve graphics mod the fall update to specific, I see my civilians driving the real life cars again so you guys gotta fix that for a fact with this update

altV deletes the Backup folder everytime you start the game, so you can't install NVE right. Is there any fix?

Check your Reshade Home tab, there is a feature called Vignette that will make the outside a little darker/blurry. If you don't have that play around turning features off and on to see what one it may be. Im sure thats where your problem lies

So there is this Mod thats called Vegitation.RPF that is causing the trees to flicker they use to be beautiful trees and everytime i take the file out my mods the trees go back to regular trees please fix this i need the realistic trees back in my eyes!

ReShade comes with NVE inside the 'reshade-shaders' folder. You should only install it from there.

I do not have an NVE.asi but I did install ReShade. I followed the directions exactly for the Single Player / Story Mode pack from April 9th. I have a fresh install of GTA V no other mods loaded.

There are a few things you can try. Restart your computer and try installing again. If that doesn't work then try installing both parts on a clean mods folder.

Hello, Love the mod and used it for a few months without incident. For some reason after i reinstalled all the files from the Rage option it seems to have broken my game. when i load into the server with the NVE installed, all vehicles from the tuner update are now tailgaters, my ped has no torso and the MLO's used by the server no longer are open or there for me. I was able to join and use it the last time I used the files but its completely broken for me after the contract update. Do you have any help or a location where i could request help?

Since scripthookV needs a new update for the latest game version, I'm not able to use the trainer to change the weather. Just replace the recommended files with lower settings one. If you want to completely uninstall it then run the uninstaller .OIV from within the Optional Add-Ons folder.

I strongly advise against mixing up graphics mods.

You're using a really old version of the game and need to use the scenarios.meta that comes with your game version. Grab it from outside of your mods folder and put it in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/ai/ and then try playing. You may run into an issue with rain sounds though since NVE edits scenarios.meta for single player. What you can do to fix that is install and copy the conditionalanims.meta file from outside of your mods folder to your mods folder and then install weather.xml from within the NVE optional add-on called "Remove Wet Roads Effect". Sounds like a good bit of work but that's all you can really do if you want to play on an old version of GTAV from 4 years back.

Game crashes after loading story mode (boots, autosave disclaimer appears, story mode begins loading then crashes on- pretty sure- first frame). 2.) This only happens if you install the mod incorrectly. When you install it correctly then it would say "Number of packs installed" on the bottom-left corner of your screen in FiveM. I suggest you go back to the FiveM readme guide and go over it again because you certainly missed a step. Mods need to be inside the FiveM 'mods' folder.

I don't recommend using the Ultra preset outside of taking screenshots. It's an FPS killer due to the global illumination resolution / distance turned all the way up. Think of it as similar to raytracing. Stick to using the medium or low preset.

Another solid update; but after updating my LSPDFR copy of the game, I'm noticing that the entire road has this odd flashing when using police lights at night...It's almost like it flickers and I never experienced it before the last update.

This only happens if you did not install the files correctly. Go over the readme guide and make sure you have the .rpf packages in your FiveM mods folder.

@William Castillo, you can always launch GTA5 without RPH, and once you're in the screen where you get to select story mode or online mode, or whenever you're able to walk around, launch RPH and it'll hook the current game instance, where you can further launch all your plugins, including LSPDFR!

Your issue is due to one of two things. Here's what you need to do. First turn DirectX 11 on in GTAV graphics settings. Then go to GTAV display settings and make sure your display brightness is higher.

Regarding FiveM issues from earlier, FiveM temporarily disabled NVE in order to fix an issue on their end. They have since re-enabled it on the FiveM canary client and will push the fix out to their main client by tomorrow. This occurred due to FiveM pushing out an update on their end which broke some files.

The last two updates wont even run for some odd reason. The game starts and when it's loading single player, the screen goes black and game just kills itself. I have to reinstall the entire game...

I've been having issues where after not even 5 minutes of playing with NVE my game will crash. I've deleted my scripthook files so none of my mods are running, except for NVE's asi files. I do also have a heap limit adjuster and a gameconfig file.

Easier for us to keep things organized. The number of dlc's does not change stability since they are not vehicle mods where you need to edit the gameconfig file.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but was wondering why most of your dlc is added as separate ones? After i had a quick look through the add-ons i found that they could all be combined into two dlc's. Carcol's &amp; Veg into NVE and the rest into NVE_Props, my game feels way more stable with fewer dlc's in the dlc list

OpenIV is only used to install the mod. You are supposed to download it from your browser. If your GTA is crashing then verify your game files and restore any corrupt files. Then follow the install guide for NVE and carefully read each step.

Random question, but after installing NVE i played the game in storymode for about 5 minutes and everything looked great. Then the next time i went to play everything was in chaos mode (the peds going nuts, fires everywhere etc..) and the thing is i DON'T have the chaos mod installed. Is there some shortcut i hit accidentally, is there a chaos mode built into NVE?

Please see the readme for single player install / play information. For online it only works in FiveM, altV or RageMP which are third-party multiplayer clients. There is a different download package for each client and for story mode so be sure to pick the right one. Car mods are included with NVE and have instructions on how you can install a gameconfig file to make sure the car mods are stable with your game. What do you mean? If you are referring to GTA Online then you need a separate folder for that without modded files. You just rename the folders when you want to play Online or Single Player Modded.

Crashes related to FiveM were solved by the FiveM devs. They pushed an update to the FiveM Canary client, but the main FiveM client will also receive an update later to address the crashing error. You can temporarily switch to using the Canary version of FiveM by going to the FiveM settings and switching the channel on the bottom of the settings page.

If you are referring to RAGEPluginHook then seach the README file. It has instructions on how you can get it to work with RPH and LSPDFR. Basically you have to load GTAV normally through Steam or Social Club and once you're at the loading screen, then you can start RAGEPluginHook manually.

If I install a new car and add-on, it won't work.

This is an issue between ENB and FiveM that is out of my hands. The FiveM devs have to fix it. You can remove d3d11.dll to play for the time being but you will be missing a lot of effects. Not all users are affected by this issue though. It seems random.

Thats your shaders, nothing to do with NVE, if you use his recommend ENB then you can open the it with home button and edit the ones active to better fit your lighting preference. NVE as a whole is a texture revamp, rather then a shader. he's just nice enough to provide us a shader that he believes benefits the Pack

i have to delete the update.rpf file in my mods folder and re-copy it from the actual game folder and then reinstal the NVE.oiv. To make it a bit easier i just moddified the "dlclist.xml in the actual game files (not the mods folder) so that everytime i copy it i dont have to re edit it in the mods folder to add all the lines for my mods to run....but it would be really nice if theres an easier way that anyone knows of?

Literally had this same problem a couple of months ago and from what I know NVE by itself can be unstable and the same thing goes for RAGE. So while RAGE is trying to load in LSPDFR and other scenarios and plugins while your playing basically NVE is trying to play catch up, and I have a 2080Ti with a Ryzen 9 3900 and had the same problem. So I ended just not using LSPDFR with NVE personally since they kept crashing together on top of that. So i just made 2 games, 1 just for LSPDFR with no NVE and the other just addons and NVE and no LSPDFR. But I'm not saying it cant be done, I'm just saying it will take a lot of testing and trial and error

Nice mod, but I have some texture problems, when i play lspdfr, the texture disappears after 15-20 min playing, as texture loss, but if I uninstall the mod NVE, the there are nothing at all. I have RTX 3080 10 GB OC and i9 9900k any help to fix it, I have install performance boost and stars :(

FiveM is quite buggy and produces a lot of texture loss, but if you set your in-game texture settings to "Normal" then it will reduce the texture loss. Also make sure your Shader and PostFX settings are turned all the way up. I like to use MSAA at 2x with TXAA enabled.

hey does this need to be run on directx11? Because with directx10 the graphics look very blown out (very bright whites and very dark blacks). But the other problem is that when I switch to directx11 it gives me a lot of jagged lines on the edges. However, as soon as I installed the optional add ons Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech, the 2016 sports car, and the alternate starfield mods - I could no longer load into story mode - I was hoping it was due to one of the mods, however, I had to uninstall all three for story mode to load again - has anyone else run into this / any tips?

You can ignore the "New Version" message as that's related to ENB but it's a false message since there is no new ENB update. I do believe your other mods may be contributing to your game crashing. Can you back up your current "mods" folder and try installing it on a new clean "mods" folder?

It should never crash or close on a clean install of GTAV with nothing but NVE. Go back and follow the steps again because you must be doing something wrong or you don't actually have a clean copy.

You can't change those for FiveM. Ask the vehicle author to make the headlights brighter. They work fine for vanilla cars.

Hi Razed, I just installed NVE on FiveM, looks really amazing! The emergency lights (for playing FivePD) look amazing, but I find the headlights and indicator a little too dimmed. How can I make them brighter? I thought there was a visualsettings.dat file inside the "f_NVE_Brighter_Emergency_Lights_MAX.rpf", but I can't seem to open this archive with OpenIV. To answer your question: There are some incompatibility issues with "Real California Architecture" and "LA Billboards" with NVE, so you may run into texture / model glitches with both of those installed. Not sure about the "V Remastered World" mod as I've never tried it.

The mod still works with the newest GTAV update but scripthook will not work until it's updated by the developer. This means your trainers and scripts won't work. The mod does not fully rely on scripthook in order for it to work, but the snow.asi and timecyclemods.asi scripts that come with the mod won't work until scripthook is updated. Those scripts are only a small part of the mod though.

As said above. It doesn't also work for SP or any Third Party Online Client.--(It does not work after the December 15th, 2020, update due to the new file DLC implementations of the Heist Update.) There is ways to get it working, but your game will crash every hour, or frequently than so. And that's by dragging the contents manually into the UPDATE.rpf, and Archive Fixing the file. Which is pointless, and best off waiting for Razed here to update his content. Which I'm very patient and waiting for :)

That's because on the new Update, it uses a new UPDATE.rpf. So, it wont work, until it's made compatible on a new NVE Update.

Graphics settings in game must be on very high/ultra and you "have" to use (if you want the most beautiful graphic) the ultra settings preset.. Also in game weather affects the "beauty" of the scene too, plus this videos must have some minor editing.

This is because ENB doesn't work with RagePluginHook. You have to remove d3d11.dll in order for it to work.

Failing this i am not sure what to tell you, It wont be an issue with NVE it will be a issue with either your plugins or your mods folder.

okay, if you are using RagePluginHook for LSPDFR, you can't use this mod. I have tried every single option of install. And every single on crashes before GTA V can even load up. It worked perfectly in regular singleplayer mode. But if you are trying to play LSPDFR, with this mod. You can't. If someone has made it work please let me know as I have not been able to make it work at all. I have done the installs, step by step for all of them

This was never an actual issue in the first place. It only happens if you don't install the mod properly but install the ENB on there. I included a proper install guide for RageMP this time around so maybe it will help you solve that issue.

Hi, I followed the install perfectly, however, the screen (game only, not the radar or subtitles) is black and white, mostly black... If I turn off the Global Effect it goes away but then it seems most of the effects do too... If I turn on Frame Scaling, the colour comes back but the sunlight in the game is ridiculously bright, like the contrast is too high, but not when indoors, nighttime is dark too, but it feels natural... Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks

Hey! I have an RTX 2060 (laptop), i5 8300h and 16 GB of RAM, plus 1tb on SSD storage. I tried to configurate my game to run as smoothly as possible without loosing too much, if any visuals. For me it's running at 40-45 fps or so... but it looks fucking gorgeous. Hope this helps :)

Hey! I am having the issue sometimes, that the performance is really bad (playing in 4k on an RTX 2080) and gets better when I tab out and back into the game. But the FPS are very low in general, although I've changed some settings down to Medium/High, using the Medium Preset and the Performance Boost "extension". Is there a specific option in the GTA 5 graphics settings that might fix this? Thanks and keep up the great work, this mod is insane!!

Man something is wrong with your mod. I got a important drop frame no matter wich Quality i put. Yes i use performamce folder. I put the Game on 1080 all settings on medium and still got a drop frame from 55 fps to 28 ando stay there for a long time. Is a Fresh new installation. With the old NE i always got 48 to 60 fps..

Does it work with Dispatch of Variety and World of Variety?

This only happens when you do not install the mod properly to the GTAV mods folder or if you do not have the ScripthookV mod. I suggest you try a clean install and read the instructions carefully within the readme file.

Hi Razed, my game looks like a negative image. Running the latest updated version of GTA, with the mods installed as per README. This is the first installation of a mod, so no prior mods were installed. Frame Scaling Mode is set to off, but played around and found that the image changes from a negative into an actual image when i do scale, but its still do dark. PostFX is set to ULTRA. My resolution is set to 1920x1080 on a GTX1080. Thanks

Playing a modded version of the game on the online version of it will obviously get you banned, that's just common sense. As for getting it off, have you tried reading the guide where it specifically and very pointedly shows you how to use OpenIV to run the conveniently-named "unintstall" file that is included in the folder? I would assume not.

Dude I have a RTX 2080 ti and a i7 8700K @5ghz, This used to run in 120+ frames at Native 4k Max settings on your outdated Naturalvison. I installed this version and brought the frames to 20 +around fps. The game is now unplayable, I think this needs alot more work before its functional hence the early access. However, I fully support and love your work great Intro by the way !!
