Today we’ve got your first peek at the first of May’s collections - the Abominations of the Ashen Wastes! This set promises to build upon cues from previous releases, to really flesh out and unveil the terrors that await those foolish enough to enter those corrupted lands.
For those who weren't around back in '23 when we launched the Ashen Wastes Terrain Collection, you can check out the set on our MyMiniFactory store for a better view of the high-strangeness that lies ahead!

You’ll have to wait for the Faction book to learn all the gristly details of this place, and the corruption that suffuses it, but in the meantime, let’s check out the concepts for the miniatures!
First up, we’ve got a pitiful cadre of soldiers, lost to the wild and corrupting energies of the Ashen Wastes, one needn’t look too close to see just from where these warriors once hailed…

Next, we’ve got a decidedly beastly pair of Waste Scavengers, these vulture-like creatures are twisted amalgams of reformed and combined flesh and death. Next month’s release will include a pair of these horrors, on 75mm oval bases.

Feels like it’s been a while since our last gargantuan horror, so we’re pleased to introduce you all to the Hollow Colossus, this terrifying beast was once a giant who, through desperation or madness, wandered into the Ashen Wastes, and became changed by the forces within.

There are quiet tales told by caravan guards and dust-bitten pilgrims of a lone figure wandering the Ashen Wastes. A giant of a man, cloaked in ragged cloth and nailed-on armor, who moves with the weight of memory and ruin… few have caught a close enough glimpse of the brute to know the truth of his past…

That covers the first May preview! We’ll be back soon with a peek at the second set - and we’re honestly buzzing to share it - a return to an all-time, ultimate-favourite Bestiarum Collection. The Wolf Banner rises again!
Cheers,
Bestiarum Crew
