August Community Vote - What Terrors lie ahead?

Hey Gang!

Alongside the July preview, we’re ready for you to cast your vote on August’s second collection!

Whatever you choose will be joined by another sequel to Dark Forest, which will be spotlighting the mad worshippers of Baphomet, in the grips of a dark festival of death and rebirth…

As with last month, we’d like you to cast your vote on Google Form -

Abominations of the Ashen Wastes

That terrible cataclysm, centuries past, has fundamentally warped the lands now known as the Ashen Wastes, aside from the serried and ossified ranks of the Eternal Legions, all manner of arcane by-blows and mutant abominations wander these dead lands.

Deadmire Part 2

Return to the foetid swamps of Deadmire, and the rotting corpses that dwell there. An expansion of the Deadmire roster, this will feature new rotting soldiers, characters and Azerai knows what other horrors that can be drawn up from the peaty earth.

Moonstruck Astrologers

Gaze too long into the void, the void will also gaze into you. This gathering of august academics, sequestered away in their great observatory, have stared far too deeply into the cold depths of the cosmos, and through their observance, have materialized something terrible beyond human understanding.

Voting will close next Tuesday, so get your choices in while you can!

Cheers,

Awesome inspiration, thanks!

That's the plan!

Moonstruck Astrologers. The idea of something so utterly beyond human comprehension being made manifest in corporeal reality due to having been observed and analysed provides a fascinating opportunity to showcase the horror of something that, for the sake of sanity, should have remained unknowable. Additionally, it raises an intriguing question about how confronting such abject incomprehensibility might warp the viewer. Who would be most changed: those who cannot understand, or those who can?

Convincing_Reality

Super excited for what’s been shown but to clarify, both July and August will have new Dark Forests sets?

Mitch Mesowski

Here's the score after a couple hours voting! 53% - Astrologers 24% - Abominations 22% - Deadmire

Alexei Popovici

Tough choice, they all sound great, but hoping astonomers get another chance 🌝

Gengar

Once I finished reading the Moonstruck Astrologers I knew that I would be voting for this. Hopefully, it wins since I REALLY would like to see your take on horrors from beyond the stars.
