If I may...on the photography side, the background needs to be somewhat lighter (perhaps a somewhat lighter grey with a dark purple, blue or green mixed in) so the figures and their paint jobs stand out or 'pop' more. Or perhaps a simple desolate landscape of this dark fantasy world (minimal details so as not to take away from the models themselves).
