MMF integration Test / Poll: Do we need Stat Blocks?

If you'd like statblocks, why not offer your statblock recommendations in the comments? D&D 5e, 4e, 3.5, 3 are still being used. Pathfinder 1 or 2? Warhammer roleplay, fantasy or 40k blocks? Integrtion with Limbo or numerous other games? Give us an inch, we're likely to demand a mile. Perhaps a $1/month additional add on for the stat block? make money!

The problem I have with stat blocks, is that you're defaulting your models to a particular system. I play Pathfinder 1e, most people I know have swapped to dnd 5e and very few still play 3.5e When I see a stat block tied to a model it feels like more work than just making your own up to convert it to your system of choice

The idea that a stat block is needed is supreme laziness on the part of others. Maybe a writing of some of your headcannon for each model but a stat block is an unreasonable request to me.

thanks for the idea! It may start from just stat blocks and then grow the amount of content offered with time. same as happened with models. I have started from 1model a month )

thanks for the opinion Nathan, stat blocks wont influence in any manner quality of the sculpts. To create those on monthly bases team will be expanded

Thanks for your opinion mate! Totally understand your concern. My dream is to create something more then just cool models, so all those ideas of providing stats and other dnd stuff should help create a story, a living world around those creatures. At least i hope so )

i think i have data about all registered patrons on the months they were subscribed. it shouldn't be an issue. But i'll start using MMF from this month only so previous releases may not be included

Would it be included in the merchant tier? Even if it's not part of the merchant license it would be great to have for personal DnD games.

MMF downloads are handy, I'm always paranoid I missed an update at the end of the month. I mirror my STL library to my NAS and keep a cold tape backup every 6 months, having the MMF integration is really nice as another later of data security.

I usually play pathfinder, so 5e stats will not work for me, though any flavour text for the minis is always appreciated!

I run an OSR system (AD&D compatible) and wouldn't have any use for 5e stat blocks.

massive thanks for so much input friends! i would like to say few words here so you get my idea right: - The thing with additional tier doesn't mean i will do it myself :) stat blocks, illustrations or other things what could be required there will be made by my team members. - Quality or quantity of the sculpts wont suffer, those are 2 independent brunches :) Main direction of my Patreon are sculpts! - This new tier will include sculpts + stat blocks and other DnD related things, moduls, maps etc with time - there wont be any exclusive figures in those tiers, figures will be same for everyone. looking forward for your thoughts!

Other- I sub to some people who do stat blocks and they usually include those free. If they do stat blocks AND a module then that’s when they add a new tier and extra few dollars, I wouldn’t pay just for stat blocks

Other: I'd rather the focus be on the quality of the miniatures rather than adding other types of work and risk losing that quality. With that said, if there was no loss in the amazing work you do then it would be really cool. So either way, I'm good with or without them.

I use your stuff in D&D all the time, but i find making my own stat blocks is fine. I often use the same models for different purposes and levels so it wouldn't help me anyways XD. And to be honest I don't like all the dozens of tiers other patreons do, it makes it needlessly confusing and i never feel comfortable no matter what tier im at. I like how you have just set the cost you need to keep up your lifestyle and we just contribute that to keep you doing this amazing art. Please don't start slicing up and packaging your great stuff into different tiers :(

Honestly, for those who enjoy d & d it can be interesting, but I believe that most of us use it for our own scenarios and statistics.

Stat blocks are usually a positive thing when people see them offerd. Would Merchants be able to have access to them? Only asking cause I know Archvillian dosnt include their DND moduals with their merchant teir. (At least they hadn't been, not sure now).
