2017-07-30 19:44:52 +0000 UTCGreat synopsis Ford. I do agree with a lot of what you wrote. I did not pick up on the fact that the match might have been fixed in Braden's favor.. And being a professional that he is it would really stick in his craw that he did not win on his own merits.

Anyhow, I do feel like Rochi gave him a person to talk to that will not judge and already knows most of it anyhow. This seems to be his way in after all as an actual friend. I think that now the Fox has an avenue to Rochi and to vent, Rochi's phone may never stop getting texts. Rochi is usually an open ear so maybe things start off that way. Gods, i cannot imagine what is going though Braden's head right now. The nerves have got to be killing him. He left his wolf behind which means the outing with Rochi had him more confident and comfortable. So whatever he is needing him for, it's at the tournaments, or has a possibility to show up at the tournaments, but has nothing to do with Rochi as the wolf was no where in sight. It's not a stretch to reason he seems more comfortable talking and being near to Rochi. Also, he is drinking coke... That was something that he has not drank in years since he started Tennis. Something if not the first win in the majors, truly has him vexed to go back on his diet decisions. - Exits Froyd Very good chapter Kyell, i like more the things that were not said and was only half confirmed by Braden with nods. You portrayed someone that was truly perplexed at what he whitnessed and seems confused at this point at how to proceed.

The win looked to be a strain and annoyance on his face although he did not have much of a challenge. He even then was deep in thought about what had just happened. He hired a bodyguard afterward, and was more than his usual curt self. Hmm, the win may have been rigged in his favor. If so, why would he have known? That is the only thing I can think of that would make him have a stressed or stricken look to his face. If that is true, the win was not his own in his eyes and therefore he didn't deserve it. OR - he did not know but he had his suspicions about how easy it was during the first set. Either way, he knew about it afterwards and he didn't think he earned the win. That would explain why he is currently back at the challengers tour hiding out so to speak. Braden is not saying anything as he truly likely does not know everything either. All he does know is that the match was thrown and he will never have his first win memory back. It was tainted and that is why he is reeling/thinking about it over and over in his head and taking a while to respond to Rochi. He may be scared that the tournament finds out and he gets questioned. He may be very scared and not so sure about his future right now. This would be very scarey for him on so many levels. This explains why he is even more withdrawn and is hiding behind his BIG wolfy. He just wants to forget about it all and play Tennis, can he though without some to talk...
