Includes roughs (7) and sketches (3). The first 6 roughs were created with my 3D program, so that I could quickly and easily swivel the camera around to get the best shot as well as play with the character sizes and proportions easily. With hyper-sizes like this, and their close "interaction," the 3D model was the best way to realize a good image.
Then, I drew the rough, colorizing Carl to help differentiate him.
It took a number tries to get the pose and sizes right, as I worked back-and-forth with Patron.
The tight sketches are described as follows:
• 1A : First verison, with liquid effects
• 1B : Same, but without the liquid effects so you can see the figures.
• 2 : Revised: Longer n!pples, revised liquid effects to make it less busy.
