Paid Commission 39: [Anime Shading] Growing Grin (Very High res)

Paid Commission of a busty woman sitting on a couch, looking up at you. It is in the 1-tone shadow anime style. This is a usual application of this style as the subject is more "life like" and not an anime-like character.

"This turned out great! ... There's something interesting about how you did the style here. Almost makes it look CGI, for lack of a better comparison. Smooth with soft shadows. I like it!"

Concept: 
[The patron wanted] this to be anime/cel shaded... Been itching to see how it could look.

Simple pinup of a young woman (reference photo was given to follow) leaning back on a couch, giving the viewer a sultry look and biting her lip. Her already ample breasts are growing larger and bulging out of her low neckline. Imagining her going from around size 4-5 to somewhere between 5-6.

Expressions: Sultry and biting her lip, like she knows the viewer likes what they see and is more than ready to show us more.

Includes roughs and sketches. The many roughs and tight sketches were due to figuring out the application of this art stye to a more life-like character. We tried a few ways of shading, and settled on a more crafted shadowing on the face, and a simple soft shadow along the body. The shadows were softened more than usual in the end to match the life-like aspect of the subject. I worked with the Patron to get to this point without any added cost since I was exploring this new "style," as well (and because the patron had quite a few commissions with me under their belt). In the end, it would definitely be a premium over the 1-tone Shading cost due to its complexities.
The "Tight Sketch", in this case, is so close to the roughs, that I also included the Line Art and Flat Color steps. While not a normal part of the Commission process, these additions were needed during this exploratory project to show the progress to the patron.
