Speed Process Video of the creation of the February 2025 mOnthly grOw illustration.
**NOTE: As I had informed the winning patron, unfortunately, while working on this image, I had an unexpected power failure (my whole area). It was also at that moment, that I realized that my UPS (uninterrupted power supply) was faulty, and did NOT keep my computer powered (I SHOULD have been able to continuing working... instead, the whole computer just shut down). This was during the major portion of the image.
While I only lost maybe 2 min of work on the artwork (I save a OFTEN), I lost the whole 2 hour recording from that section (this includes the lighting, shadows, effects, and background). This last one (background) really has me bummed as I really enjoyed working on it.
The video DOES contain: rough sketches; line art; flat colors; (lost footage here); final touch-ups; dialogue. Even only containing this small part of the image, the video is over 12 minute long. Had I retained all the recordings, it probably would have been over 24 minutes.
