Sketch WIPs for Freewheels' Commission (Hezekiah's Dark Day)
Added 2022-04-07 22:01:00 +0000 UTCI'm pretty proud of how this sketch turned out, primarily due to the body language! With Jos on the left, he's in an "ignorance is bliss" peaceful sort of pose and expression, despite having had his foot amputated. Hez, his older brother on the right, is exhausted, but restless, so I drew him sitting hunched over, but twisted in an awkward position as if he can't get comfortable.
It's inspiring me to want to do studies to get even stronger with posing, but alas, commissions need to be done! Regardless, I live for "breakthrough" moments like this as an artist.
