This month will be a bit special... 😅 after the couple of setbacks in my work that happened recently. Well, there's a kind of a new one... while I was building the stairs of my home, I clumsily made something fall on my drawing tablet that I was using to show blueprint plans, stupidly placed on the floor, and busted the screen. The timing is really bad because I'm about to get the visit of family coming from abroad, with whom we've planned to go places in the country (for those who might not know, I'm currently living in Colombia). This trip has been planned for months and I was going to use my drawing tablet to work while traveling with them. So what will change is that i will not be able to do digital paintings for the next two weeks, starting two days from now. So, I'll have to work traditionally with the good old sketchbook. The good in the bad is that I planned to work on Andromeda rough pages, concepts and scripts, so the impact should be minimal on my productivity. During these two weeks I will regularly post some traditional sketches, rough pages and concepts arts of Andromeda's chapter 11.5 environments. The animated artwork will be delivered, although here again we will have to skip the voting phase and go straight to artwork (which I've already started as I write this) creation while I'm still home, and make the animations when I'm back the 24th, and when the animation is done I will colorize some of the traditional sketches I have made.
