Polls Closed Early
Added 2020-03-27 02:25:31 +0000 UTCHey, everyone. I know I said I'd keep the polls open for another day but I've decided to end them a little early. The reason why actually has to do with the results themselves. For the content update schedule, we're pretty firmly going to be going monthly as laid out in the roadmap I posted earlier, however, as to whether or not I'm going to uprez FLW before continuing with story updates, the answer is no. If you're a little confused as to why, since the uprez option clearly won, I have something I need to share with you.
Some of you might not be aware of this but Patreon creators can download their poll results as a spreadsheet and see who voted for what as a well as details like the email address of that patron and when they voted (or when they last changed their vote if they had changed it.) When I looked at the data I noticed something was off right away, and I'm sure it won't take you very long to see the problem.
This was seriously not cool. I understand the desire to see the option you want win but that completely undermines the purpose of the poll. I want to know how the majority of people wish to proceed. Fudging results like this doesn't change what people want, it just makes it so I'm no longer doing what most people want me to do, and I'm not very happy about that. I have no desire to out the person who did this, and I do genuinely appreciate your support, but please don't do something like this again.
So, all that said, I'm disregarding votes 20-26 in my final tally, which gives the "Keep it the same" option a slight edge at 10-7 (I'm also discounting one of my votes there as I voted for "Uprez" by accident when I didn't realize Patreon creators could vote in their own polls - seriously, why is that even possible?)

2020-03-27 08:28:49 +0000 UTCOh, huh, it should have been open to patrons of all levels. That's strange. I guess the poll is closed now so it's too late anyway but are you unable to see the poll at all?
2020-03-27 04:54:20 +0000 UTCI mean, with those faked/duplicated votes removed, the results are the results. If Keep it the same is the winner after that, then it's the winner. That's my opinion, at least. But i'm not at a tier that can vote, so count that for what you will.
