TUTORIAL: Cheetah Face

The challenge with translating cheetahs and some other felines in my style is because in the specific case of cheetahs, the nose is quite far below the eyes, while the eyes are set up higher than center on the head. In my style, two trademarks are flat muzzles with the nose out front, and eyes centered on the skull right beside the muzzle bridge. As soon as I break that, my style doesn't look quite as appealing (in my opinion), although it does look a bit more like a cheetah.
This is something I'll need to study more! In 2021 I'm planning to go hardcore on learning better and more versatile character design, so you'll probably see me improve in this area!
