After coloring the character, I ended up liking it so much I went with adding a background too. :3 I didn't want to deal with drawing an entire stadium (it's hard, going by my experience with Little Runt), so I blurred it and dimmed the lights like it was some pre-match festivities, or he's standing for the national anthem.
I still really love this art, so thanks for suggesting it, Andy! :D
