OMFGosh, I am returning to my comment after the most recent stream (your Friday, my Saturday) and ... If Jenn knew or suspected anything was happening to Maddie, then she is certainly complicit and deserves to be convicted of something. Predators will only increase in the future, especially with females being denied access to abortion if they are not ready to parent. Sorry, this is a side issue, this case is not this. I am just worried about predators seeking vague parents out to exploit. There are so many more Maddie's out there (male and female) suffering at the hands of creatures like Sterns. Innocent children having their lives interfered with in the WORST ways imaginable - and if they survive - they undergo a life of severe suffering, just to endure life. To anyone suspecting a child is in any kind of unsafe situation, any kind of abuse - SPEAK OUT!

She seems to legitimately have ZERO situational awareness. As in, she may truly not have linked red flags that a typical protective person would... This is what the vile creature preyed upon, and likely, groomed her into never realising. However, FFS - Madeline was never protected in her life. Anyone with a child must be on top of any potential for predatory behaviour from adults. Madeline's life was horrible. That vile POS Sterns made her life all about serving him, and his sick twisted pedo brain. So much so, that he ended her life to protect himself. I can't get my head around it. We all KNOW these people are all around us, and, if we know someone with zero situational awareness like Jenn, I think we should assess the situation a little more, and break walls down. If someone is a creep, which, surely everyone around Sterns felt, they should start really analysing things... His interactions etc... I have had to ask young children if they are safe and to query the adults they are in the care of. It is a process. This dude was willing to kill, when it could have been stopped well before that point, possibly, by people outside of Jenn. It is highly complex, but, I don't think Jenn knew any better, she certainly wasn't getting a meal ticket from the pedo creature.
