Dev Update + Release Date!

Ahoy sailors! We are polishing the ship that is Girls Overboard real nice for y'all and has settled on a release date! But before I announce it, I want to take a moment to address some questions we have about the previous development update.

Optional In-app Purchase Options: I 100% understand your fear of an endless pay-to-play mobile platform, so let me assure you using pearls will be OPTIONAL. You will NOT need to purchase anything in-game in order to complete relationships and unlock all the steamy Wet 'n' Wild scenes. The few items available solely for purchase will speed up your progression if you want your chicken tendies and you want them now.

NSFW Patch is Only $1.99: The team and I are basing this price on one of our favorite puzzle games, Mirror. Since we are only a three-person studio and this is our first (full-on H) game, we want Girls Overboard to gain as much attention as possible. What better way than to make it only $1.99!?

Steam Demo: Like a drug-addicted friend, Girls Overboard has changed a lot since you last saw it. But unlike drug addiction, it changed for the better! The main reason development has taken so long is that through player feedback we have changed the gameplay into a Match-3 game!

Base Game and NSFW Patch Outside of Steam: All content will be available on itchio and our website! Whether you want to buy the game DRM free or just get the NSFW patch from outside of Steam, we will have you covered. Look forward to specific details in a future post!

Release Date: April 19th, 2022! Through strategic planning and several palm readings, we have determined the release date.
