Recently awoken to your magical powers, and hunted by undead hellhounds, you arrive in Edinburgh hoping to master your magic, but what you'll end up discovering is a world of Prophecy, Destiny and Romance.
Inspired by books like Dresden Files, Iron Druid and Changeling Blood the world of Love of Magic blends our world with inspirations from Arthurian, Celtic and Norse mythologies. Gods and Monsters get drunk in your local pub, the magical realm of Elsewhere is a mere portal away, and the great grand-daughter of King Arthur's your study buddy.
Love of Magic's core story is ~25 hrs long, blending an open world Visual Novel with RPG combat. The key inspiration for the sandbox/VN part was the Person 4 and 5 games; a calendar drives the main story, while spare time can be spent training, exploring the world, unlocking side-quests and optional stories, or exploring the randomly created 'dungeon' of Elsewhere.
