I really hope that someday in retirement I'm able to take a nice, long trip and tour the Mediterranean. I just love this culture, history, and architecture.

I am not much of an expert on plants, but I do like lavender and more importantly, Toscany is famous for its lavender fields in the summer, or rather ..a specific month in summer, but I forgot which one. I loved seeing your reaction to the images from Florence, the Cathedral. It makes me want to go back. I was there when I was 16 and although I very much appreciated the culture, I think I am at a point in life where I appreciate the hard work and artistry a little bit more. At 16 I was also distracted by my school friends there and guys flirting with us and the pizza...anyway...all the fun stuff haha. I am glad the nana tour went to Italy. It helps me getting to know the guys while watching them in a place I really love and have great memories of myself.
