It was actually inspired by the fairytale 'the little mermaid' by Hans Christian Andersen in which the little mermaid has to kill the prince in order to live and not turn into sea foam. EXO take on the role of the prince and try to console the little mermaid. That it is okay to kill him in order for her to keep living.
