2024-12-12 19:32:35 +0000 UTCI live in Dayton. The museum Spuntnik is at is at the air force base it is a free museum that I have been going to since I was a kid. Wright Patt(the air force base) is the largest base not by square mile but by personal. Not really relevent to the reaction but I wanted to share. This is one of my favorite TXT songs, on the album of my favorite title track 0x1 Love Song. I did not know that the satellite the song was inspired by was less the ten minutes from me.

2024-12-06 06:41:06 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if it's common knowledge but sputnik in Russian ( and other slavic languages) actually means fellow traveler/voyager, or more directly translated someone, with whom you travel together or walk on the same path (I'm not sure how to accurately express it in english). So at least in my opinion, in the song they are playing with both the methanors for the satellite, but also with the meaning of its name.
