2017-07-02 14:01:22 +0000 UTCI played the release a few weeks ago and found the story to be different than I expected. (Mostly surrounding the application of Failure for the MC; I guess I didn't expect the level/degree of fail-dom.) I'm semi concerned that the character will become too whiny, pathetic, or annoying in the future but you've avoided crossing the line (while getting really darn close at points) and there are hints that things may diverge away from that line in the near future. Thus the "semi"-concerned. That said, I enjoyed the game more than I expected to and the stories instilled a real affection for all the characters so far. (Something I truly appreciate.) Over the weeks since, I've found randomly myself remembering bits it of off and on. To me that's a sign of a well crafted story. There are SO many threads of potential goodness in the first part that I ended the play really looking forward to seeing where this goes. :)
