What is Faulty Apprentice?

Faulty Apprentice is a fantasy adventure dating sim with RPG elements and mild nudity. In a world of monsters, magic and mystery, you take on the role of an ordinary farm boy that left home seeking an apprenticeship of some form. The only problem is he is terrible at EVERYTHING!! 

Is a lifetime of failure leading him to a greater purpose? Or will he fail in a blaze of glory like always? Perhaps with your help and and some new friends, you can turn this Faulty Apprentice into a true hero!

Game play breakdown: 

Similar to the Persona series, the game timeline is broken down day by day. Each day you will have the opportunity to train in any two Skills: Magic, Swordsmanship, and Archery. 

Completing the training mini games will allow you to level up a particular Skill, which will be needed to complete Quests. Using an open world concept with the castle, you will find various characters with Quests requiring a certain Skill(s) for you to accept. Each with their own fun mini game related to that particular skill(s)! After successfully completing Quests you will build your Courage level. 

Raising your Courage will allow you to spend time with the Instructors outside of training and progress the story. The training path and characters you choose to spend time with will unlock new areas of the castle, characters, quests and affect the overall story. 

Some routes of the game will lead to good, others to evil. Will you save the kingdom? Or will you bring about it's destruction? The fate of the lands will be determined by you, the Faulty Apprentice. 

New features of Faulty Apprentice 0.5

- Story! The story of your great Apprenticeship begins this update! There are many paths to adventure, which one will you choose? You can now enjoy the story of the Faulty Apprentice!

- Apprenticeship! Favoring a path in story and training, will affect the look of your Apprentice! WIll you choose, Magic? Archery? or the Sword?

- Your Adventure! Now you can enter your own custom name for the Apprentice!

- Time! The game and story progress in days, and now you can spend your day's however you like. Training is allowed during day hours, and you can train up to two times per day! This way you can explore other skills while still having time to train in your main skill of choice.

- Your own Room! You now have a room to hang out and check your skills, relationship status, appearance and do other things!

- UI! The user interface has been upgraded in almost every aspect of the game. Now when making decisions in the story, you can see a reminder of what was previously said to you.

- Totally random! Now when you are training with Sword or Archery, the puzzles are random! So each time you train, you will never know what to expect!

- Your support! All Patreon supporters are given a special place in the credit section of game. Thank you again for your support!!

- Much more! This has been the largest update by far to Faulty Apprentice and there are a bunch more little things that I am forgetting to mention.
