Anima: Gate of Memories tarot card "Death"

Was feeling pretty down yesterday due to the whole car break in thing so did this speedpaint for the Anima: Gate of Memories tarot card design contest.

Will be cropping it to the white lines for the contest but wanted to share the full version here first.

As I say in my art streams on Twitch, being proficient in multiple production methods will make you more valuable as an artist. Not only to your clients but to your team. If you find yourself only able to draw with lines first, try restricting yourself to no lines, only forms and solid colours. If you always block in with colours, try doing a line art sketch. If you read those and said "ha! I am already doing that din!" then good on you! (= Maybe learn a 3D program or some coding.

The point is, you know your weakness, so improve on it. If you don't know your weakness, try getting out of your comfort zone and I am sure you will find one (=
