Attached is the PSD file for the Wolf Kaiju I painted at AGL Studios for Arche Nemesis Games.
About the image:
This was a matte painting, which means integrating photo elements to achieve a higher level of detail, without taking ages to paint. When done properly, the painted areas and the high detail photos blend together to create a nice harmony. To a normal person, this may sound easy, but if you have ever worked with photo assets it brings it's own challenges. Like, matching lighting, detail level, and not making it look like you just slapped a photo on your drawing XD
On that note, I have left the original photo assets in the PSD for you to observe and see what parts were used where. Enjoy!
