This is a lovely little video. I'm kind of shocked at how many people didn't know basic stuff though (e.g. not knowing how many planets in the solar system, not knowing stars are much larger than planets etc.)

That Sagan quote is featured in the Nightwish song All the works of nature which adorn the world. In the last part. Here is a great video to accompany it, https://youtu.be/RnOdQ5WNZJk?si=q0zCSxnF1nL6k75J. Another science based song of theirs is The greatest show on earth. That one is about evolution. The Wembley show featured Richard Dawkins and can be seen here, https://youtu.be/qrMwxe2ya5E?si=j836izcL3SlW8vaa

Very good! The edit is well done. The people were engaged and learning. The message is definitely there for those that have ears to hear it.

Okay, I understand the selection of answers for the purpose of the video, however, as science enthusiasts, we would like to know the percentage of people who actually got it right.

Very nice. This feels like a warm up for a discussion of the Drake Equation and Fermi's Paradox... Also, you allude to the alternating pattern of frenzy and void across scales. This was nicely articulated in Charles & Ray Eames' video Powers of Ten. Perhaps another opportunity for a list of additional reading/viewing?

Great Video for getting my High School Students in my Physical Science questioning. If no one finds the sticking points, I will suggest they consider asking themselves to look into the sizes of moons and planets in our own solar system as a starting point. (Ganymede and Titan are both larger than Mercury and the now defunct Pluto) I mainly teach Biology, Marine Biology , and Chemistry and need your website this semester because I have added Physical Science. Oh... and I am 76 !
