Honestly I had been staring at this illusion so much that it basically stopped working for me entirely so it was great to have fresh eyes on it. When I horizontally flipped a clip or played it in reverse then the illusions worked again so I think part of it had to do with the fact the windows always rotated in the same direction and I knew which direction that was, also where to look if you want to break the illusion.
