NEW VIDEO: Are Negative Ions Good For You?

I know it sounds crazy but the more I dug into this question, the crazier it got. I have been obsessed with this topic for the past several weeks and I hope you'll agree the video reflects the incredible amount of passion that went into making it.

Please, if you like this video, share it with your friends. Share it with someone who has a salt lamp or really loves waterfalls. Or someone who is a super skeptic...

Veritasium: these things are basically useless... No one: Me: *buys 4 salt lamps immediately*

That may be so, but we should have stopped using those terms 50 years ago so that school kids would not even be familiar with them (most adults, too). (I have to go chase the kids off my lawn ...)

I would guess that the use of those terms and graphics, while not up-to-date, will perhaps be more familiar to casual viewers and thus have a greater acceptance by lay people. Just a thought.

Wonderful ... as usual. I was a little surprised you used the terms "alpha, beta, and gamma rays" which are more than a little archaic. I often also decry the use of atom graphics that are hopelessly out of scale and/or show orbiting electrons. This is a hundred year old model at this point which has been discredited, but the continued use of the image supports this inaccuracy.
