I don’t know about Dort, I’m sure she’s way better than me but I’m definitely not a VA. I’ve just done / do some narration sometimes. Which is definitely not the same thing but it’s similar I guess in terms of some of the breathing and delivery techniques. I find it hard enough to remember what I have to remember 😂. My friend has done animation voice overs. I don’t want to identify him (because it would be embarrassing if someone said “your friend Katy said this about you on an erotic audio message board” MOSTLY FOR ME 😂😂😂 or I’d be able to give you a better example. I find Mr. R’s work kind of glides AND he has to be hot. I know there are parameters when following a script because it’s a script but it’s so impressive honestly. Ask any (not stiff) acting coach. In fact, I bet you they’d say this was high difficulty work for training purposes. Because it really is 😂🙏🏻

I appreciate all of the context because I'm a huge nerd too. I love storytelling and fantasy and went to a 4 year acting conservatory so this is why I'm such a vehement supporter of BKS. The production value is unmatched, the scripts are really good and the scenarios are well varied, the VAs are genuinely talented actors who are dropped in to the scene's circumstances. It's all masterful and they keep getting better. I really hope you find another BKS VA that meets your standards.

I hear where your coming from. The first audio I ever listened to on here, and anywhere else, was Robinson’s Hiking Audio from a couple years ago. It’s been so amazing to see how much he’s changed and how much better he’s gotten. And not only Robinson but the writers and editors and whoever puts together the SFX. I shouldn’t forget Chambers, he’s been around for a while too. And I’ve loved everything Gallo has done so far. BKS was outstanding when I first found it and it’s only improved since then. 😊

This is *our* standard. Just because it’s erotic audio doesn’t mean one should cut corners or not try to aim for the highest possible quality one is capable of. IDC what the craft is, there is always room to learn, develop and grow somewhere! Katy, Dort: keep at it! Anything worth doing is hard at first. Masters of the craft like Robinson & dare I say Gallo (ok maybe journeyman) make it seem effortless, but that’s the training, effort and time spent practicing showing through. Take a listen to their first offering to compare where they started to now. It might help your confidence levels to know everyone starts somewhere.

I love all the context! It’s good to know someone with some knowledge in this/related fields has such a high opinion of this work. A lot of other creators and VAs are so one note to me. This is the kind of work you can be good in, but there are some people you come across who are more than good, great, and amazing combined. Maybe I’m a nerd / maybe it’s because I’ve had businesses and also done some narration work, but why does no one acknowledge enough how HARD this actually is? He’s so good that you don’t think about it! This is going to sound like such a pain in the ass thing to say (but please humour me, I’m genuinely saying it to praise how good he is)…I have a friend who is an actor. He’s successful. He’s in films and TV. For context, one of his friends and costars is an academy award winner FOR BEST ACTOR. I know people in the film industry, heck I even had a job offer for a very well-known franchise in the art department. I SAY ALL THIS to put into context that I’m hard AF to please, I’m fussy, I have OCD 😂 I notice everything. He is THAT GOOD. I genuinely want to ask my friend to read a script to see if he can beat this. I love my friend, we’ve been close our whole lives, he’s super talented and I support him in everything he’s ever done (including being his number 2 in our kids plays 😂).
