He confronts you, having never seen you at the palace before, but you can't bear the attention, your boss would have you struck for such a forbidden encounter.
Robert confronts DePuy, your superior, a wretch of a man, with his own demons, and in those moments he knows he must meet you. He spots you outside the palace in the garden before chasing you through the labyrinth and confessing his feelings under the starlit sky.

Regency / historical plus slow-burn is a blissful combination, bringing out the most flourish of writer's talent as well as the most delicate of VA's performance. and the plot is so well written - I laughed out every time at the "plot twist" part. and all the little French words, so cleverly placed - the swearing, the sarcasm, the mumbling under his breath. god knows my first language isn't even English, let alone my poor French - but I enjoyed it immensely. Mr. Robinson's tender British accent and playful French pronunciations, Jesus. all in all: *love* this gem. and *love* that it has a sequel. <3

I don’t comment if I’m not feeling it. However I hate that it seems like all the romance on here is being replaced with misogyny and degradation if it continues I might have to ✌🏾 please keep making stories for everyone.

I typically skip over things that sound heavy on romance, especially "mostly SFW". I like a good story/ slow buildup but with an intense ending I guess (sorry just trying to give honest feedback!)

Several parts throughout the story I was smiling and blushing, while pressing a curled finger to my lips. The only critique I have is when they’re outside it sounds like the background sound fades in and out as it’s restarting. Other than that, everything was wonderful.
