Even though it’s wedding season, and the company’s event calendar is filling quickly, how could I possibly say no when she asks me to cater, you, her best friend’s wedding? After all, you and me go way back - high school days in fact. So, I being me, of course I pulled some strings and asked my head chef and the wedding events planner to squeeze you in. It’ll be great. Besides, I’ve always liked the “bride-to-be” (possibly even had a dream or two...or three...about you), it’ll be nice to see you again. Offer my congratulations.
The day of the wedding, I'm kickin’ ass and takin’ names! Well, more like, delegating tasks and helping clear plates but I'm still a badass chef with the seasoning hands of a culinary god! I notice some trouble in paradise, however, and I realize the groom is a complete dick. Rescue mode, activated. After swiftly and heroically handling the groom, I and you realize how much we've cared for each other (even after all these years). Looks like Lady Love is back on the menu.
