Hey gang,
The biggest update for the month is, I will be ordering the parts for a PC I'm building for VFX work today. One of the things I've made a priority during my time on Patreon is using a lot of the funds to buy new gear, props, software, assets, and work with models more often. Building this PC is no different. I'm pretty excited about it, because I've been using my MacBook Pro so far π. Doing effects work on a MacBook (I have the last gen before M1/2) has been taxing on my soul π
For those that are interested here are the Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS ProArt X570-Creator WiFi 6E
Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 24gb (Planning on 2 of these, or 1 and a 4090 when it comes out)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB
Moving forward during and after the build I'll be closing new VFX customs for awhile (most likely a few months). I'll be putting most of my extra time I got from my day job into learning improving my VFX skills, and creating and releasing some videos I have been working on in the background. I'll be letting everyone know when VFX customs back. You will still be able to order Prop (Buildings, Tiny People, etc.), and POV customs during this period though.

2022-08-05 03:44:36 +0000 UTCNope it wonβt be delayed. Like I said above Iβm just putting VFX Customs on hold. Meaning I wonβt be taking any new VFX customs on during that time. Iβll still be working on and releasing new and background VFX projects during the time VFX customs are closed.
