One-Two punch

Your hypnotist smiled as they held up a finger on each hand, waving them lazily before your eyes. You couldn’t choose which one to look at, so you let your eyes flit between them. Each time you looked to the other finger, you felt a little more comfortable.
Your eyes were getting heavier. Your mind was getting slower, with every movement of their fingers. Eventually, the fingers began to sink downwards, and you felt your eyelids inexorably follow. As you sank, you felt one of the fingers push the back of your head.
You sank with the pressure, the motion, until their other finger pushed your forehead, pushing you back up. Your eyes opened, your mind began to clear, until the first finger was pushing your unresisting head back down. A gentle pressure, guiding you back into trance.
Then, before you could really register it, you were being pushed back up, and then back down, over, and over again. A cycle of prods that felt like a series of one-two punches to your mind. Each time you came back up, they just knocked you further into trance.
